Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
When you use Hevo ("the Bot") or our dashboard ("the Service"), we collect the following information:
- Discord user data: User ID, username, avatar hash, and server membership data provided by Discord's OAuth2 API when you log in.
- Server data: Guild IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, and configuration settings you provide when configuring the Bot.
- Usage data: Command usage, XP levels, warnings, economy balances, and other bot interaction data generated within your servers.
- Payment data: When purchasing Premium, payment is processed by Patreon. We store only your Patreon ID and subscription status — never your card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Bot's features (leveling, moderation, economy, etc.)
- To authenticate you on the dashboard via Discord OAuth2
- To process Premium subscriptions and manage billing
- To improve the Bot and fix bugs based on usage patterns
- To send service-related communications (e.g. Premium expiry notices)
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- Patreon: For payment processing. Subject to Patreon's Privacy Policy.
- Supabase: Our database provider, used to store server configurations and user data securely.
- Discord: We interact with Discord's API to provide the Bot's features. Subject to Discord's Privacy Policy.
- Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as you use the Service or as necessary to provide it. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us on our support server. Server data is deleted within 30 days of the Bot being removed from a server.
5. Security
We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure database access, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
6. Children's Privacy
Hevo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Data portability

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via our support server. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
